Software/Staff Engineer – Branch Solutions

Location: 
Bangalore

Job Requirements

-           5-10yrs of strong hands-on development experience in embedded data communication products in the area of packet forwarding, routing or switching

-           Very strong C programming and debugging skills

-           Very good team player with can-do attitude

-           Very good analytical, creative problem solving skills

-           In-depth understanding of IP routing, packet forwarding and networking concepts

-           Experience with UNIX/Linux or real time operating system internals

-           Experience in data path handling with CoS/QoS concepts

-           In depth knowledge in some of the following areas: L2-L3 protocols, IP, MPLS, L2/L3 forwarding, Firewall, ACL, VPLS, MVPN, Multicast, ATM, Frame-relay, L2VPN, L3VPN, PPP, Multilink etc

-           Expertise in TCP/IP and network security is desirable

-           Experience with multi core platforms is desirable
